Terms & Conditions for Short-Term Rental

General Information

Maximum Occupancy: 10 guests

Bedrooms: 5

Bathrooms: 5 en suite + 1 in the spa area

Bedding Configuration: 4 double beds, 2 single beds

Check-in: 16:00

Check-out: 10:00

Late check-out may be available upon request and is subject to additional charges.

Rates apply to a maximum of 10 guests.

Security Deposit

A refundable security deposit of €5,000 is required prior to arrival via bank transfer or credit card authorization. The deposit will be returned within 7 days after departure, less any costs for damages or applicable bank fees.

Please note:

• Charges for in-house consumption or third-party services are payable separately on-site (by credit card or cash) and are not deductible from the security deposit.
• Only pre-approved third-party service providers are permitted, as arranged by villa management or concierge.

Cancellation Policy

All payments are non-refundable.

A 100% loss of all payments applies in case of cancellation.

• Daily housekeeping (except Sundays)
• Daily towel change
• Linen change twice per week
• Concierge services
• Free on-site parking

Additional Information

• Smoking is allowed in outdoor areas only.
• Pets are welcome upon prior request.

Terms & Conditions of Lease

Damage or Loss

Guests are expected to treat the property with care. Any damage, breakage, or loss is the responsibility of the guest and may be deducted from the security deposit. In cases of significant damage or disruptive behavior, VTC reserves the right to terminate the stay without refund.

Property Access

While guests enjoy exclusive use of the villa, staff or contractors may require reasonable access during the stay for maintenance, inspections, or service provision.

Guest Limitations & Event Policy

• The villa accommodates a maximum of 10 guests unless otherwise authorized in writing.
• Hosting non-resident guests or events (e.g., celebrations, parties, weddings) requires prior written approval. Unauthorized events may result in penalties or cancellation.
• The booking party is responsible for ensuring all guests comply with these terms.

Use of Property

Villa Terra Creta is rented for holiday use only, unless otherwise agreed in writing. Any event must be pre-approved, and additional fees or permits may apply.

Conduct & Due Care

• The villa is in a peaceful residential area; guests must be respectful of neighbors and comply with local laws.
• Strictly prohibited activities include:
• Indoor smoking
• Drug use
• Gambling
• Use of fireworks or weapons
• Children must be supervised at all times, especially near the pool and outdoor spaces.
• Guests may not rearrange furniture, modify décor, or alter the layout.
• Staff must be allowed access for upkeep as needed.
• Photos taken on the property may not be published or used commercially without prior permission.

Late Check-Out

Late departures without prior arrangement will incur additional fees.

Valuables & Security

Guests are responsible for securing their valuables. Villa Terra Creta, the Owner, and representatives are not liable for any theft, loss, or damage. Please ensure all doors and windows are locked when leaving the property.

Insurance

Guests are strongly advised to obtain comprehensive travel insurance covering:

• Trip cancellation
• Personal liability
• Medical emergencies
• Property damage

Cancellation Conditions

A reservation is considered canceled if:

• One or more nights are canceled
• Booking dates are changed outside the original timeframe
• Required documentation (e.g., passports) is not provided
• An unauthorized event is held on the premises

No refunds are provided for cancellations, personal reasons, or early departures.

Complaints

Any issues during the stay must be reported immediately to the Owner or Representative to allow for resolution. Complaints made after departure will not be considered.

Provisions

Villa Terra Creta is self-catering. Guests are responsible for their own provisions unless otherwise arranged. Staff can assist with shopping at the guest's expense.

Disclaimer

Villa Terra Creta, the Owner, and all affiliated representatives are not liable for:

• Injury, illness, or death
• Loss, damage, or theft
• Inconvenience due to external factors beyond their control

These Terms & Conditions are in place to ensure a safe, respectful, and enjoyable stay for all guests.
